NJ Out of State Renewable Energy Generator Certification Procedures
Learn the process of how to obtain a NJ state certification number for an out of renewable energy generator.
Process
The procedure for an out of state Renewable Energy Generator to be certified to participate in the New Jersey Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard (NJ RPS) and receive a NJ Certification Number requires that you meet the NJ RPS Generator requirements N.J.A.C. 14:8-2. To apply for certification, complete and submit one of the three forms below:
- Complete Form I: The Generating Facility settles in the PJM Market Settlement system
- Complete Form II: The Generating Facility is Behind the Meter to PJM (Non-PJM Generator)
- Complete Form III: You are a Generator located outside of the PJM Region and the output of the load is dynamically scheduled inside the PJM region
