New Jersey's Clean Energy Program (NJCEP) Stakeholder Groups are open to the public and provide opportunities for stakeholder participation. Join one of our clean energy stakeholder groups to stay informed and participate in monthly stakeholder meetings to make your voice heard. Together we can grow clean energy in our communities.

Community Solar Stakeholder Group
Community solar projects enable greater access to solar energy. Electric utility customers who have previously been unable to go solar, due to a variety of factors including cost, unsuitable roof, or lack of roof control, can now access this renewable energy. This stakeholder group will explore community solar in New Jersey. The Community Solar Stakeholder Group does not currently have any meetings scheduled.
Electric Vehicles
New Jersey is leading the way in electric vehicle (EV) adoption on the East Coast. Governor Phil Murphy has set a goal of registering 330,000 EVs in New Jersey by 2025, which will reduce emissions from the transportation sector and help reach the goals of New Jersey’s Energy Master Plan and the Global Warming Response Act. This stakeholder group will explore electric vehicles in New Jersey.
Energy Efficiency Stakeholder Group
New Jersey is working to improve energy efficiency across the state. This stakeholder group will explore energy efficiency in New Jersey.
Grid Modernization Stakeholder Group
The State of New Jersey is committed to transforming its current electric grid into a smarter, more resilient, and sustainable infrastructure to meet the needs of the future. This stakeholder group will explore grid modernization in New Jersey. There are no meetings scheduled at this time.
Net Metering & Interconnection Standards Stakeholder Group
Net metering helps customers maximize their renewable energy investments. This stakeholder group will explore net energy metering policy and utility interconnection standards in New Jersey. There are no upcoming meetings scheduled at this time.
Energy Storage Stakeholder Meetings
Energy storage is critical to bolstering the resilience of New Jersey’s electric grid, reducing carbon emissions, and enabling New Jersey’s transition to clean energy. This stakeholder group will explore energy storage policy and program design in New Jersey. There are no meetings scheduled at this time.
