SuSI Registration and Payment for SREC-IIs
This page details the four-step process registrants must follow in order to enlist a solar generation facility with the SuSI program, PJM-GATS, and the SREC-II payment administrator.

Step 1: Submit Registration in Online Portal
How do SRECs Work?
- To be eligible for SREC-IIs, you must first submit a registration using the relevant SuSI Program portal prior to commencing construction. Find more information on the SuSI sub-programs here. For information on how SREC's work, click here.
- After an initial registration is submitted, a notice of conditional registration will be issued and a project number will be assigned.
- You may then complete you solar installation.
Step 2: Receive NJ Certification Number
- Once installation is complete, you may submit the post construction (final as built) packet.
- There is a random inspection selection process. If your system is selected for inspection you must comply.
- After review of all documentation and completion of inspection (if applicable), you will be issued a NJ Certification Number via email.
Step 3: Register Generator with PJM-EIS Generation Attribute Tracking System (GATS)
- Once you receive your NJ Certification Number, to create SREC-IIs based upon metered generation from your solar system, you must open an account and register your generator in GATS.

Step 4: Open a Payment Account with the SREC-II Administrator
- Once your account is approved in the GATS tracking system, to receive payment for your SREC-IIs, you must open an account with the Solar Incentives NJ Program. Instructions below:
