Clean Fleet EV Incentive Program
New Jersey's Clean Energy Program aims to achieve a 100% clean energy future. Through the Clean Fleet EV and EV Charging Program, local, state and nonprofit entities are eligible for incentives toward the purchase of electric vehicles and equipment for their fleet charging.

About the Program
The Clean Fleet Electric Vehicle Incentive Program supports local and state governments as they transition their fleets to EVs. The Program allows local and state government entities in New Jersey to apply for grants toward the purchase of light-duty battery electric vehicles, Class 2b-6 battery electric vehicles, and Level 2 charging equipment.

Eligibility
Equipment
Any brand of Level 2 charging equipment with standard connectors available for use by all EVs is eligible provided that the charging equipment is:
- ENERGY STAR® Certified
- Dual port
- UL2594 listed
- Capable of networking with a state compliant network provider
Any brand of DCFC charging equipment is eligible provided that the equipment is:
- Dual port
- UL2202 listed
- Capable of networking with a state compliant network providor
- DCFCs that are ENERGY STAR® Certified are eligible for an additional $5,000 incentive
Vehicles
All new and used BEVs up to Federal Highway Administration Class 6 may be eligible for incentive funding. Neighborhood electric vehicles (NEVs), such as electric golf carts and other similar EVs, are not eligible for an incentive.
